AWANA is a weekly kids club that teaches children Biblical truths, facilitates Bible memorization and provides time for group games for children ages 3-11. It is a ministry of AWANA Clubs International, a global organization that provides curriculum and training for churches to do effective children’s ministry. Its goal is to introduce kids to Jesus Christ and build a biblical foundation for faith.

For more information regarding our program, registration, or volunteering, please see the additional information document. Check out the pictures below to see some of our fun AWANA activities, as well as other children’s and family activities at FBC!

Little ones are precious to us! We believe that even the very youngest child can learn to love God, whether in the welcoming arms of a volunteer in the nursery, while having a Jesus tea party in the 2’s & 3’s class, or playing a game that underscores a Bible point in the Pre-K class. Nursery and Pre-K care is available during both the 9:00 and 10:30 services.

Sunday School is provided during the 10:30 Sunday service for children in Grades K through 5. The children engage in Bible stories, videos, crafts, and games that bring home the Bible Point of the week. Classes are organized based on age group, and students graduate into new classes in conjunction with the regular school year. Our Middle School and High School youth join with the church family in worship on Sunday mornings. See below for more information on youth group meetings.

Middle School Youth Group meets together on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for games, fellowship, a message, and prayer. Other annual Events include See You at the Pole, BREAKAWAY (outreach), EQUIP (evangelism training) and an annual youth outing with the High School Youth Group to White Pines (fellowship).

High School Youth Group meets on Thursdays at 7:00pm for fellowship and time in the Word and prayer. We encourage our students to go deeper in God's Word and with one another, in a safe setting that encourages them to discover who they are as individuals in God's Kingdom. The High School Youth Group also has opportunities for special events and retreats, such as Snow Camp, See You at the Pole, and others.
